1) Lay your design down, white grid paper side up. Rub the piece to ensure the letters stick to the milky transfer paper.
2) Carefully peel the grid paper off, working from one side to the other. If the lettering is not separating, replace the paper onto that letter, rub down, and try again. (Sometimes it helps to push down on the letter as you are pulling back.)
3) Starting at the top of your design, make sure it lies flat on the wall and then slowly work your way down and out. Rub with the application squeegee to push it firmly to the wall.
4) Once your design is on the wall, remove the transfer paper by gently pulling straight back. If the words are lifting off the wall, just put it back down, press and try again. You may push the letters down with your fingers. Work slowly with patience! Some fonts are easier than others. Small and delicate letters can take extra caution and patience.
To remove Wall Graphics from your surface, simply peel up an edge and slowly peel straight back, not up.
Here are some key things to remember:
- Go slowly, take your time
- If any glue remains on the surface once you have removed your graphic, use any type of price tag remover like GooGone
- If you are removing it from a delicate surface like a wall, you can use a hair dryer to soften it up and make removal easier. Do not use a heat gun as it can melt your graphic!
- If the design has been exposed to the elements for a long time, the graphics may be brittle and break apart. Use a hair dryer to soften the design and assist with removal
